But you need a very large table to play it and if I have more than one gamepartner, I prefer the board game.

I was thinking, its a shame the card game isn’t a multi-player game. It would be cool if it could be expanded to include more than 2 players. It clearly offers something different than the board game, so its not a matter of card game vs. board game.
