Hi Carol,
I got this page from my good friend Bjorn Becker. He initiated me into Catan, and I have been a few times in Essen in the past. Even participated in the European Tournament once. I am now seven years on the road in an antique Land Cruiser and I have enjoyed many games on the road in different countries with other travellers or locals. Now I am in La Paz, Bolivia and have found a little game shop where they sell and play Catan. I told them about this huge fair in Essen and the yearly tournament. My question is how would they go about it here in Bolivia if they wanted to participate in the world tournament? Can you get back to me on this via my email, as I am only once a week with an internet connection...
Adventurous greetings,
Coen

Dear Carol

I really enjoyed your article. Unfortunately we cannot be in Essen for the fair. However, the plan is to visit it in the future. [Edited by admin due to unwanted advertising.]
